A promenade hotel, waterside resort and elevated address with a panorama are different choices. Check the actual room category and route to the beach. These cards never assume that every room has a sea view.

Choose Le Negresco for art and historic Nice, not simply its Promenade des Anglais address. The independent hotel combines its recognisable dome, interiors from different periods and Jeanne Augier’s collection.
Anantara Plaza Nice combines a city itinerary with an evening above the rooftops. Facing Albert I Gardens, it places Old Nice, Carré d’Or shopping and the promenade within the same urban setting.
Le Victoria suits travellers combining seaside Nice, contemporary comfort and a prominent dining rooftop. Between the promenade and Place Masséna, city walks naturally alternate with returning for the spa or dinner.
Le Méridien Nice is a substantial city hotel where the promenade, gardens and central walks meet. Its strength is the combination of a seafront address and a roof where you can end a day exploring Old Nice or shopping.
Radisson Blu Nice suits a broad sea horizon and a stay above the western promenade. It works for pool time combined with city outings, but its position differs from addresses near Place Masséna.
Choose La Pérouse for its unusual position between Castle Hill and the sea. Above the street entrance, terraces and resort-like corners unfold within urban Nice.
West End is a historic address for travellers imagining Nice through its promenade and seafront façades. The official site associates the building with 1842.
Beau Rivage suits an itinerary giving equal weight to the sea and Old Nice. This four-star hotel stands on an urban street at the historic quarter’s entrance, combining contemporary design, an inner patio and convenient walks.
La Villa Nice Promenade is an intimate alternative to large seafront hotels. Its Rue Saint-Philippe house keeps the promenade close while retaining a smaller boutique scale.
Carlton Cannes is an address through which the ceremonial Croisette becomes legible. Choose its historic exterior, substantial hotel format and the possibility of combining city life with patio relaxation.
Hôtel Martinez presents Cannes’ seafront with a strong Art Deco mood. It suits travellers wanting a substantial Croisette hotel, dining experiences and wellness time rather than simply a bed between outings.
Le Majestic can be understood as the hotel side of the Palais des Festivals setting. It combines the Croisette, substantial service and time by a pool or beach.
JW Marriott Cannes interprets the city’s cinematic identity through a substantial contemporary hotel. On the former Palais des Festivals site, a Croisette stay combines dining and rooftop time.
Canopy Cannes offers the Old Port and Le Suquet rather than the central grand-hotel line. The contemporary property combines city life, a spa and MAREA, a rooftop that can justify an evening visit in its own right.
Belle Plage presents Cannes beside Square Mistral through contemporary architecture and a separate spa experience. Its current official site identifies five stars; older four-star descriptions should not be carried forward automatically.
Juliana Cannes is a contemporary four-star option behind the eastern Croisette. Choose proximity to the beach route and a more expansive hotel format with a pool.
Monte-Carlo Bay offers a resort format within Monaco, with gardens, pools and a sand-bottomed lagoon. It suits guests spending a substantial part of the day on the grounds while retaining Monte-Carlo outings.
Fairmont Monte Carlo is a large contemporary hotel with a seaward setting and active roof. Choose its panorama, restaurants and city base beside Monte-Carlo.
Port Palace is a boutique Port Hercules address whose main experience is the yacht harbour. That waterside urban outlook distinguishes it from Casino Square hotels.
Riva Art & Spa combines seaside Menton with rooftop wellness. The hotel officially confirmed its move to four stars after refurbishment, so older three-star descriptions are not reused here.
Napoléon is a four-star garden-and-pool address on Menton’s eastern side. Combine coastal walks with a more intimate break without choosing an isolated resort.
Princess et Richmond offers a four-star stay on Menton’s seaward side. Family management history and restrained aesthetics distinguish it from large international resorts.
Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc is a historic resort on southern Cap d’Antibes. Choose grounds, a seaward setting and a day shaped by gardens and water rather than constant travel between towns.
Start with transport and your itinerary. Rail outings favour a town base near the right station; gardens and pool days an estate with transfers planned. Compare district, terrain and the specific room category. A seafront façade does not guarantee views from every room; spa and beach access may have separate conditions. Check restaurant and pool seasons for your dates.
