At a glance
Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc is a historic resort on southern Cap d’Antibes. Choose grounds, a seaward setting and a day shaped by gardens and water rather than constant travel between towns. It is not an ordinary base by Antibes station.
The setting
The peninsula address requires transport planning. Old Antibes and Juan-les-Pins are separate outings, not the same district. Arrange a car, transfer or agreed itinerary for dinners and excursions.
Atmosphere & character
The official history traces the hotel to 1870. Historic buildings and more private spaces now form a resort ensemble. Its character needs no unverified celebrity-stay stories.
Rooms & views
Rooms occupy Villa Soleil, the Eden-Roc Pavilion and Les Deux Fontaines; separate villas are also offered. Building position changes the stay. Choose proximity to the water and communal areas as well as category.
What makes it distinctive
Waterfront grounds, a pool and several restaurants support a day inside the estate. Louroc, Eden-Roc Restaurant and other settings have separate hours and reservations. Resort facilities are not unconditionally included in every rate.
Who it suits
For couples and families seeking a complete resort day, historic surroundings and time without an outside programme. A short rail-based city stop can be less convenient logistically.
Before you book
Check opening season, building, outlook and transport. The hotel operates seasonally and publishes the next season separately. Agree restaurants, wellness and family requirements before final payment.
Seasonal hotel: the official site announces a winter closure and the next season. Check your dates before booking.
